Lucidity was released in France a few months after its release in the Netherlands. So the success here was belated. But, Delain already has a lot of devoted French fans.
The first Delain show in France was on the 28th of April 2007 at the Zenith of Lille, as a support show for Within Temptation. That night, Delain played almost the whole album, and the show was memorable!
The band considers this concert as one of the best they ever experienced.

“Well, the first concert we did in France was in Lille, and that is still the best concert we ever had! When we looked at the audience responding, we were wondering: “Is it happening for us? Or is there Within Temptation standing over there?” And the rest of the gigs we had in France have also been very good." (Charlotte Wessels)
From there on, Delain starts to get known more widely thanks to the concerts they give as a support act for Within Temptation. On the 8th of October 2007, the band plays at the Zenith of Paris in front of a crowd of almost 5000 people! A unique moment…
Coming soon, Delain will give a small tour in France, this time as headliners!
